Hello Louisedagostino, thank you for creating a post and sharing your resolution with us here. Last night my tv screen said there was a problem and to check connections. I did that and now it is stuck on the welcome screen! I have done the troubleshooting twice I read a solution on here to unplug box and tv and it is still stuck on the welcome screen!
This is not the main tv but a 2nd one. Please help. I am having the same problem. The welcome screen comes up and after a few minutes goes dark, and the process starts again.
I'm having a similar problem. We just upgraded to an X1 from a basic box. When I got up this morning, the cable stream was nothing but a blue screen. So I rebooted the box. Then I get to the "welcome" screen for a few minutes, then it goes to a blue screen for a split second then the box shuts itself off and won't turn back on unless I unplug its power cable.
Then it does the same thing all over again. The problem in my case was fixed by completely disconnecting the X1 DVR cable, hdmi and power. I also disconnected the power on all my other Comcast TV boxes. I waited 5 minutes, connected the hdmi, then power to the X1 DVR. It finished booting correctly and everything was working. I then repowered each of the other Comcast TV boxes and they worked. Maybe I'll give that a try.
Now I managed to get past the "welcome" screen, but I have just a permanent blue screen that remains no matter what I do. I bought brand new "high speed" cables months ago, and just now bought more expensive "high speed" cables, and still problems persist. If it is a 4k box, try hitting exit exit exit on the remote to see if switching resolution makes it work. The above-listed reasons all could make your phone stuck at boot or logo screen.Samsung Smart TV Service Menu / Factory Reset How To LED 8 Series
If you want to narrow down the root cause of the booting trouble, you may try these three tricks:. After you have figured out the cause, you can solve the problem more effectively with specific solutions. However, it is okay that you couldn't find out the causes. Just follow the under-listed solutions one by one to get your device out of boot screen.
Charge your phone for about an hour with its original Samsung charger. Then power on your phone to see if it could be turned on normally. Lift the cover up, take it off from the phone and then take the battery out of the Samsung phone.
After a few seconds, put the battery or a new battery back to the phone. Then switch on the phone and see if the home screen comes up this time. Turning the device off and on is sometimes called a soft reset, which is often the first steps in troubleshooting a device becuase it is useful to repair small defects as well as do no harm to data in the device.
Especially for Samsung phone with non-removable battery, a soft reset can be used to simulate a "battery pull" when the phone is unresponsive or frozen. You'll see the "Maintenance Boot Mode" screen. Use "Volumn Down" button to navigate to "Power Down" option and press "Power" key to confirm your choice. The phone will be off and on again. This method is especially effective for the device that becomes frozen in boot screen after installing third-party apps recently. Under the safe mode, all third-party apps are disabled and the phone is back to default settings.
If the phone fuctions in safe mode, it is very likely that the malware cause the problem. Just uninstall the troublesome apps and exit the safe mode, your device should be fixed. Step 1.Browse more conveniently on our mobile app. You're using an outdated version.

Problem: I began a system update on my Samsung Galaxy S9 plus at 10 pm last night. The phone shows the blue update screen with the Android robot and the arrows on the robot are turning. But the update percentage is not increasing. At this point I will not do a factory reset because I have some pictures that are not backed up. My biggest fear is that I will loose the pictures! Thanks for your help! Before performing the troubleshooting steps listed below I suggest that you remove the microSD card of the phone if you have one installed.
The first thing that you will need to do in this particular case is a soft reset.
This will usually fix issues caused by minor software glitches as it will refresh the phone software. This is also called as a simulated battery pull as it disconnects the phone from the battery. Make sure to backup your phone data before performing this procedure.
